Frequently asked questions
For Rotation Pool Scorer.
Scoring, foul rules, and the practical stuff — pricing, storage, and restoring a purchase.
K-Ball
What is K-Ball?
K-Ball is a single-rack rotation game where every ball on the table is worth one point. You always hit the lowest-numbered ball first, and the rack keeps moving with continuous racking rather than a fixed break order.
How is K-Ball scored?
One point per ball, fifteen balls per rack, so fifteen points are available before a new rack is broken. Racking is continuous: play rolls straight from one rack into the next, and the app carries the running score across all of them.
What's the foul rule?
A first or second foul costs you one point and gives your opponent ball-in-hand. A third consecutive foul costs fifteen points, and your opponent breaks a fresh rack.
Pocketing any ball resets the streak, so the app tracks your foul count and clears it automatically the moment you make a ball.
Are safeties allowed in K-Ball?
No. K-Ball is an offensive-first game — any safety, intentional or not, is against the rules. If your shot doesn't legally attempt to pocket a ball, it's a safety.
The penalty is a −15 point deduction and your opponent re-breaks the fresh rack.
Who breaks the next rack?
Whoever pockets the last ball of the previous rack breaks the next one. That's continuous racking, and the app shows a live BREAKING indicator so nobody has to remember.
American Rotation
What is American Rotation?
American Rotation — AMRO for short — is a single-rack rotation game raced to a point total. Balls are struck in numerical order, and the higher balls are worth more, which changes how you play the back half of a rack.
How is it scored?
Balls 1 through 10 are worth one point each. Balls 11 through 15 are worth two points each. That's twenty points available per rack. A race to 100 is typical, and the race target is configurable in the app.
Who breaks each rack?
Breaks alternate every frame. The app tracks whose turn it is and shows the BREAKING indicator at the start of each rack.
General
Can I use this without paying?
Yes. You get two complete matches free. After that, a one-time $4.99 purchase unlocks unlimited matches. There's no subscription and no ads.
Does it sync to the cloud?
No. Everything is local-only — your match data is stored on your device and never uploaded. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
What happens if I uninstall?
All match history is deleted, since it only ever existed on your phone. The $4.99 unlock is not lost — it's restorable through your Apple or Google account.
I bought the unlock but it's not active.
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. If it still doesn't come back, email me at [email protected] with the store account you used and I'll sort it out.
Will you add other pool games?
Just K-Ball and American Rotation for now. The app is rotation-focused by design: doing two games properly beats doing eight games halfway.
